Suevia large volume Quick drainage trough for cows

Features

- With a capacity of 280 liters (61,5 gal), this trough is suitable for large farms. Providing 12’ (3,7 m) of water surface for watering 37 to 46 dairy cows (from 3'' to 4'' lenght for each animals).
- Only for wall mounting, for example on a concrete wall between two rows of stalls. Dimensions: 165'' long x 18'' wide.
- Conical and incline trough made of staineless steel.
- Lever to open and close drainage plug much easier without putting hands in water.
- Comes with a Masterflow float valve ensuring a water flow up to 40 L/min.
- 3/4'' male connection in front and 3/4'' female stainless steel elbow (included).
- Design in two parts to ease transport. The seam of two parts (in the middle) is sealed with silicone and screwed with stainless steel screws (included).
- The wall mount is reinforced with a stainless steel center bracket to support the middle of the waterer.
- Rounded corners for animals' comfort and to avoid injuries. Low water loss and no splashes thanks to the inward-folding rim.
- Float valve cover can be lifted without use of tools.
- Large drainage hole for a quick and complete cleaning, with a holder for drainage tube DN 125 (sold separately).
- Additional installation of a low or high pressure float valve is possible. For example: to use warmed-up water from the milk cooling system (not possible when circuit pipe model 6064 is installed or one additional Maxiflow float valve.
- Anti-bitting protection stainless steel plate that protects wires and insulation from water inlets.

Options for frost-free down to -20oC

Option A: 24 V-360 W heating element to fix easily under the trough (131.6062).
- In order to ensure a frost-free feed pipe, a frost protection heating cable 24 V-20 W-2 meters or 24 V-30 W-3 meters is wrapped around the feed pipe and connected to the heating element in parallel to the power supply cable, coming from the transformer. 
- For power supply a transformer 230-24 V is necessary. For automatic switch on/off of transformer, a thermostat can be additionally installed.

Option B: 24 V-180 W heating element to fix inside the trough (131.6063).
- Comes with stainless steel cover and cable connection box. For installation, only four holes have to be drilled into the trough’s bottom according plan.
- To ensure a frost-free feed pipe, a frost protection heating cable 24 V-20 W-2 meters or 24 V-30 W-3 meters has to be used.
- For power supply a transformer 230-24 V is necessary. For automatic switch on/off of transformer, a thermostat can be additionally installed.

Option C: Connection to a 1'' water loop or circuit pipe
1. Stainless steel connection set for 1" water circuits (131.6067). When using this connection set, the valve of the trough can easily be by-passed by a 1" water circuit line. For frost protection of the water in the trough, an additional installation of a heating element or a frost protection guard is required.
2. 3/4" stainless steel circuit pipe: the pipe is supplied with warm water from the Suevia water heater. This system keeps the water frost-free and protects the pipe (131.6064).
3. 1'' stainless steel circuit pipe that runs through the whole trough. Ideal for large farms(131.6114).

Option D: Frost protection guard by running water
- 3/4" frost protection guard working without electricity. To install over the float valve (131.0521).
- At risk of frost, the frost protection guard opens automatically. The adjusted water quantity flows into the trough over the float valve, situated under the frost protection guard: water in the trough remains in motion and is prevented from freezing! Surplus water produced by the frost protection guard is channeled through the hole of the handle. 
- No ice in front of the trough.

Valve heating: for extremely cold areas, a 24 V-7 W valve heating sleeve is recommended to increase protection (131.0527).

Accessories:

- Low pressure (131.0738) or high pressure (131.0700) float valve.
- Transformers of 200 W (transfo-200ik) or 500 W (transfo-500ik).
- On/off thermostat (101.0389).
- 24 V-20 W-2 meters (101.0861) and 24 V-30 W-3 meters (101.1863) heating cables.
