Automatic Smoothly Running Tube Valve Waterer 

The heated cattle waterer, model 100.0046, is a premium quality, fully enamelled cast-iron waterer. It easily attaches to a wall or a pipe mounting of 2" to 3".

With a particularly flexible ½” smoothly running brass tube valve with a female connection from above and a male connection from below, watering dairy cows is simple and easy.

Very practical, the heated waterer keeps your animals' water frost-free, down to -15°C (remaining water in the bowl will not freeze). The water provided to the animals is in sufficient quantity.

If you install a 24 V-5 W valve heating, the water remains frost-free down to -35°C. It can be installed later (valve heating supplied on demand).

Technical characteristics:

• 24 V- 80 W heating element, installed between the two bowls, is easily accessible by separating the bowl from its support. The animal therefore has no contact with the element.
• Water flow continuously adjustable from outside by means of a regulation screw.
• Power supply requires a 24 V transformer (50 to 500W).

To ensure a frost-free feed pipe, it is recommended to install a heating cable of 24 V-20 W of 2 meters or 24 V-30 W of 3 meters, wrapped around the water pipe and connected to the transformer together with the heating element of the drinker.

If the heating cable is installed on plastic pipes, make sure that this water pipe is suited for warm and cold water. For better heat distribution, the water pipe has to be wrapped with an aluminium adhesive tape.

One heated waterer is sufficient for 15 to 20 animals.
